Update: See the rest of the post then come back to check out the slip dresses you can buy. Links are underneath this picture.
Hello again 🙂
We initiated this 4 ways to wear post about a month ago, I’m sure you saw it on my Instagram. I had bought a slip dress then returned it because of fit. That doesn’t change the fact that I love these dresses. Here’s how I spotted my slip dress last year.
In this post, I’ve compiled all *4 looks as well as where you can shop every item. Should an item sell out before you get to it, I will be very happy to find alternatives for you. Use the contact tab or email firstname.lastname@example.org
Let’s get started.
Why I love slip dresses.
1. I’ve been loving them since 2014! And in 2015, I rocked another. Those slip dresses with lace hem have my heart and I’m not sure why the fashion world is just catching on, but it’s okay…Stick with Memkoh.
2. Slip dresses are easy to wear. It literally takes seconds. No tugging, no fussing.
3. They are perfect for nights of gluttony. I for one am very skilled in dressing for these nights; I hardly wear tight clothes for dinners. Recently, I found myself in a maxi skirt to a baby shower. I heaped my plate so much that by the time I was done eating, I had to drop my zipper a little. Hashtag “Team no shame!”
4. Borrowing from point 3, you will be tempted to burn your waist trainer…forever! (or for that one night).
5. You tell me.
Here are the looks. P.s. I started out with one dress that seemed fitted, then later found loose options, our perfect fits for gluttony. Enjoy!
Wondering why I had an asterisk beside “4” in the opening of this post? Well, because I had a bonus look for you to try out.
LOOK 5 / BONUS:
Try wearing a skirt over your slip dress. It’ll make for an interesting look if the skirt is shorter than the dress but overall, it’s meant to look similar to wearing a skirt and camisole.
I promise you, these looks can be gotten for less. Visit the Services tab to learn more about our Personal Styling services and book for your next occasion or closet overhaul.
If this helped, share it with your friends/network. I hope you enjoyed this post and please tag #MemkohInspired if you do try out any of these looks.
