Fast cars, fast food, fast internet, fast trains, fast money, fast everything you can think of.

There’s nothing wrong with moving with the pace of the world but there’s everything wrong with refusing to pump your brakes once in a while, lest you collide into trouble X.

Because everything is so fast paced, we no longer have the room for a deep appreciation of anything. It’s all about fleeting moments of praise and half-hearted gratitude.
For the sake of me, I cannot wrap my head around why everything vaporizes so quickly. Maybe I just need to catch up and hold on tight. Or maybe I need to keep up with my hare-turtle race.

Fast is good but fast is not always better; be true to your journey.
You can go fast if you want. I’m not saying you should slow down. I’m advising that you speed up with caution or…

…at the very least, oil your brakes.
