4 Ways to Wear: Lace Hem Dress

Last week, I introduced something new for the men – 4 Ways to Wear: Plaid Shirt. Before I style the same item for ladies, let’s take a look at a simple dress that’s sure to turn heads no matter how you wear it.
I first set my eyes on a lace hem dress as I was window shopping (online) at Miss Selfridges. They are effortlessly sexy and you know I’m here for anything effortless. They are very much like shift dresses in that they don’t cling to your body but the fit is definitely flattering on any body type. I especially love the tiny straps and of course, the lace hem; those are the sexy bits. Below are 4 ways to style your lace hem dress (and maybe more).

Date Night: I have to thank my friend for referring me to this shoe designer, Lauren Martinis. Leopard print is a favorite to most women (except myself) and undeniably, when worn right, they take an outfit to another level. Since I don’t like leopard enough to cosign leopard on leopard, I suggest you opt for a color in a warm hue such as orange to take your outfit places, including securing a second date!

Date Night 2: So you looked feminine and sexy on your first date?
Ramp it up with this very bold and fierce black and gold look featuring a leather biker jacket, leather booties, clutch with knuckle hardware detail and chain bracelet . He’ll be glad he asked you out on date 2. Thank me later! 🙂

Burgundy Bump: You’ve really come a long way from date 1. I see you have a baby bump now. Ok, maybe not.
Was he a bad date? Don’t bother your head, lady. I bet you’re now sitting in the front row at NYFW, a working class lady, a Mrs. to someone else or maybe just a young lady like myself. Either way, you now have more responsibility (than date nights) so grab your lace hem dress, style as shown below and don’t forget to add the glasses for some quirk. You’ll need it.

Chic: Don’t lose your oomph, ever! Keep it chic in a lace hem dress layered with a crop top. It’s the only way you’ll be able to wear crop tops well into the coming colder months. Yellow against red and black is an incredibly beautiful color combination.
