Last week’s post was all about wearing pencil skirts and more recently, I showed you how to style a pencil skirt in 4 ways. See 4 Ways to Wear pencil skirts.
Today, I’ll continue my Flashback Friday Series where I dig up old pictures that coincide with a 4 Ways to Wear post. If you saw Pencil Me In, then this skirt isn’t new to your eyes. But I wanted to show a dressier option for those times you want to cover up. Plus, it was Fall so I needed to keep warm. I love this top because it had just the right amount of
leather faux leather in it. I want to think that the top part is tweed but since I’m not sure, I’ll just call it a black top with faux leather peplum. Both top and skirt were custom made in Shanghai. If you’re traveling there, that is my advice – get clothes made instead of shopping for things you can find at the mall.
