Outfit #3 – Chic
After sharing my Personal Reflection, I feel comfortable going on with my photo shoot posts. In a nutshell, God redirects us when we lose our way, like a GPS does. Now,…
Boyfriend jeans and printed tees have never made their way into my closet. Since my birthday photo shoot was my chance to explore clothes/outfits I would normally not wear, it was about time I embraced them. I searched relentlessly for a pair of ripped boyfriend jeans and found the perfect pair to debut my biker chic look in…or so I thought.
Life happened and my order never arrived, till today. So I did what I do best.
If a pair of slightly ripped jeans from the men’s section of H&M does not qualify as boyfriend jeans, then I don’t know what can.
What else? My choice of location. I have been yearning for a rail track photo shoot since forever (precisely 2 years ago) and luckily, so did my photographer, JustJoyPhilly. It was hilarious seeing her looking over her shoulder to ensure a train wasn’t approaching while her husband orchestrated some of the poses. It was so beautiful seeing them working together.
Lastly, I thought I should factor in something I detest into this shoot – the cliché pose above. Ladies, it’s time to banish this pose forever.
Stop looking down and look up…to God…always! You have a bright future ahead of you. 🙂
