I’m not a huge fan of wearing black or black and white together. I was blind to all black items of clothing until last summer after a conversation with my friend on our way to the mall. She told me she loved black and white, while I expressed my distaste. As we left the mall, I had 2 black tops and 1 black and white skirt. I’ll never understand how expressing my distaste for black turned into a weird admiration. Well, not admiration but I can let it seep into my closet from time to time. This post features 2 outfits. I wore the first outfit to school the week I got back from Spring break (notice how fitted my jeans are? Cruise food!). On this day, I was close to wearing mostly black and white then I unintentionally interrupted it with some color – an orange belt. Later that week, I managed to stick to an all black and white ensemble to church. It is either it was chilly that morning or I’m just really good at being cold. Either ways, my gorgeous sweater from White House Black Market came to the rescue. I paired it with a black skirt and black shoes but it was really hard not to slip on a colored pair of shoes right before I left my room.
