Noooooooo! I don’t even want to recall how it felt to arrive at our last port of call, Cozumel, Mexico. If you read the previous post, I have good news for you – this time, my friend, Lami and I both got Mexican boyfriends and drank lots of Tequila. 😀
Okay, so we arrived at 8am on Friday morning with Norwegian Epic beside us…again! By this time, we were not “tourists” anymore so we found a city tour and Tequila tasting package for $25 each. Our initial plan to go snorkeling didn’t work out because the tides were too high like in Costa Maya.
The driver drove round Cozumel, stopping at beaches, the Tequila tasting spot and a Mayan Ruin. Funniest part of this “Mayan Ruin” was that the guy in front told us he is the last surviving Mayan. Right!!! Lami & I got back to the port then decided to walk to the nearest beach but we never made it there thanks to souvenir shopping and lunch. A barbecue was going on once we got back to our ship, right after we’d had lunch and of course I still ate. 😀 On-board, we attended the last showtime: Oceans Apart.
Saturday was spent completely at sea as we sailed back to Tampa. Outfit here.
Can you feel the tears?
